Rotate the flag!!

This term we have been given a strategy, again.. But today it's about rotating objects or other kind of stuff. When I did this the first time I failed, but luckily I got it right. We had to make a DLO about this strategy, I also failed recording this strategy because there were so many people outside recording and they were noisy and then I run out of time... but I happily I got it recorded today. But anyways I hope you enjoy and I hope you learnt something from this DLO.

The end of Olympics... (Still joking... btw - by the way. )

This term is the last day for swimming at Canterbury Swim School. I'm kind of a bit sad, but I had a lot of fun, but I'm pretty sure all of you had fun too. But yesterday I had a new goal it is to try not to stop while swimming. But I think that I achieved it. But I will still have many goals, so today my last go will be is to try not to stop at the big pool this time. When I was at the big pool, I always stopped at the middle of the pool because I was so used to the small pool that, I stop at like 13 seconds. So that will be my goal, I will have a videos to show you.

We now have been to Canterbury Swim School for our last swim. I felt really exited, they taught us some water safety. They split us in 2's luckily I was with Axle, Jullien and Khush and also other children. But I hope you enjoy your swimming lessons don't forget to smile! bye!

Translate Time!

This term we have been given a new strategy again, but this time it's called "Translation." If you don't know what translation is. I will show you my short DLO about it. I thought that this strategy is really easy, I am sure that it will be easy for you too. But I hope you enjoy! bye!

Let's learn some nets for 3D shapes!

This term we have been given put into new groups! There were 3 groups on our maths group, there was Circles, Stars and Diamonds. But I was put into diamonds, it was the highest group. I was really proud of myself. I was really curious of what we were going to be learning, then the teachers said that we are going to be learning about geometry it's pretty much shapes. Our group had to learn about nets, if you don't know what nets are, well I am going to explain some of it to you. Nets are patterns that you can cut and fold to make an object. Then we had to make a DLO explaining nets. So this is my DLO I hope you enjoy and I hope you learnt something bye!

Practicing for Olympics!! (Joking..)

This term, term 4. We went to Canterbury Swim School, we needed a bus to take us at the Swim School. I felt really exited when we were on the bus, and I was sitting with Axle, Jullien and Khush in front of Axle and I. We were talking about some things about Philippines and then we arrived at Canterbury Swim School. But before we went out the bus the teachers gave us instructors  before they let us out the bus. We had to take off our shoes and socks and put them together, then we lined up into lines. We changed into our swimming suits and then the instructors put us into groups. Then the instructors taught us about stokes and backstrokes. I will put 2 videos of me doing freestyle. But I hope you enjoy!

Binary Alphabet

As you know I have posted something about Binary Numbers and I told you that I am going to post another post about writing your name in Binary Numbers. So Khush and I helped each to make this chart of how you make alphabets using binary numbers. As you can see at the bottom I wrote my name in binary numbers, Khush and I wrote the letters and the binary so if you want to try it out, you can just copy the binary and find the letter that you need for your name. Binary Numbers

For week we were learning about "Binary Numbers." Binary numbers are used for codes, the order of the number will go like this 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 and it will go on, so you are basically counting in doubles. Computers only know on and off like this TY     . But people sometimes only use five of the binary numbers, which are 1, 2, 4, 8, 16. You can write your name by using binary number but I will post another post about how to write your name in binary numbers.
