NZ Music Month

This term we have been learning about NZ Music Month. We had to make DLO's about it and some facts. So this I made a presentation about NZ Music Month. If you don't know what is a NZ Music Month, it's basically a band or a song. It started at 1997 by the name of NZ Music Week. As you know we have been learning about the "Roswell UFO Incident." If you don't know what is the Roswell UFO Incident, I have a posted a timeline about it and did you know that the "Roswell UFO Incident" was the biggest UFO mystery in the world? Well that's why we made a DLO to tell you some facts about the Roswell UFO Incident.  We had also made a small comic strip on it too. Axle, Khush and I made it together and the comic strip too. Unidentified Flying Object???

At this term Ako Ngatahi have been learning about mysteries we had a several choices for our mystery. So I picked "Roswell UFO Incident" I chose the UFO because I was really interested about it. So I went into google drawing and make a poster about the UFO Incident but I looked a little bit of information about the UFO first. After I gather enough information I made my poster so Here it is I think I have done well to my poster because I made the background color easy to read. But I thing I should do it a little bit faster so I can post it a long time ago. Bur I hope you liked it and have a great day!

Cultural Dance

For the last few weeks we were learning about Cultural Dances and we had been practicing our performance. The year 5's were doing the Samoan Sasa and the year 4's and 6's were doing the Maori Christchurch Super Haka and the year 4's and 6's girls was doing the Ti Rakau. And also special thanks to Miss. Bell for teaching us the performances. But anyways I hope that you enjoyed and I hope that you had a great day Byee!!

Earthquake DLO

At Monday 14 of November 2016 at 12:02  a 7.5 M_w earthquake came at  north-east of Culverden. This slideshow shows what happen at the earthquake and it will show you what will you do. I hope you learned something from this slideshow. Bye!!😊 

Nutrition Poster

At the last few weeks we where learning about nutrition and here's my poster I made this poster at my own time. This poster shows what are the healthy foods and the unhealthy foods but you still can eat treats but not too much.

Challenger Deep

This post is about are film festival, we made a film that is called the Mariana Trench. We are working by groups. My group members are Axle, Khush, Brielle. I think we really made a great job doing are films and I feel exited that we are almost finished. We just have to plan it and record our voices and put more pictures we took 8 or 9 weeks to finish it. I hope you liked it!

Habitat:  Grassy field

Diet: Carnivore. Field mice, beavers, bison, deer, wapiti (North American elk), moose, and caribou.

Head: Gray wolf. They are born deaf and blind but can hear within a few days.

Body: Zebra. They live in family groups of more than a dozen zebras with one stallion as head. Good for protection.

Legs: Woolly spider monkey. Keep it warm in the cold winter.

Tail: Red squirrel. They growl, screech, chirp, rattle, and buzz. Active during the day, they spend the warmer months .
