Finished Product..?

This term, we have been making "Drawstring bags," but we are still working on it. It would probably take 1-2 more weeks because there are lots of things we have to do, before doing the actual bag. We also just finished making our pockets. It didn't really turn out that I wanted it to be, but it was okay because I could still fit things that I need to put. But I will put some pictures of the bag I placed the fabric on the top so you won't see it but I will still share the picture, hope you enjoy!

Stuff To Know About The New Zealand Crest!

This term in our "kete" we have been learning about the New Zealand Flag, Athem and Crest. Our form teacher had to put us in groups. I was put in the Crest group. I was with Tyler, Tehya and Nykachia. At first I didn't really know what the Crest meant but our teacher explained it to us. After that we now had to do our plan for our crest, we just did questions for the crest like "how was it made." Then we all put it in the slide and answered all of our questions. We did lots of researching, and I really enjoyed reading some facts about it and I actually didn't even knew some of it. I have made 11 question for my group to share.

My group and I, think that we have done a really good work on our slide and I think that you will learn lots of it. Like that the New Zealand Crest is actually redesigned. There are lots more of things that we didn't put in our slide because we didn't have that much time and I thought that I thing it would be boring if  I made the very long. How To Make A Very Successful Vlog

This term in cybersmart, we have been creating a DLO of how to make a successful vlog. But first we had to be in pairs. As always I always go with Axle. You might be asking why? I always work with Axle because it is very easy for us to work with. Because we can sort things out very quickly and we don't get any problems. However back to the vlog, after we have been into 2 pairs we now had to make a DLO of how to make a successful vlog. Afterwards we have finished the video, it was a little bit bad because Axle and I haven't made a DLO for a long time now.  Although at least we finished and now I have a new goal, Make DLO's a little bit better. Still Axle and I were very happy with it as the teachers. But anyways I will put the video down at the bottom for the video. Bye!!

Making Drawstring Bags!

This term we are in "Technology," and we are in soft materials. Our teacher is Miss Laycock. We have been making lots of cool things here, like a tissue holder, and we used beads to make any thing we wanted so I chose a cobra. Now we are making a drawstring bag! I'm really exited for it to be finished, and I can't wait to show it to my parents. It was a little bit hard to do but Axle, Lars and also the teacher helped me, and also others. I also can't wait to do other actives here and the other things that are here in technology... Here is a picture of my creation. Athletics Day!

Last week on 2nd of March, we had athletics day. In Athletics day we did lots of sports, we had to choose what side we are going to play in. There were 2 different ones "Social" and "Competitive" I chose competitive, but if you don't know what social and competitive means I will explain it to you. Social means that you still do sports but you are not versing like other people that are really good on that activity, so that you have a chance to get better at that activity or sport. Competitive means that you are versing people that are really good or they really knows how to do that sport or activity. So that what the mean.

But then we had to choose what kind of activity we are going to do. I chose 100m run, 60m run, Discuss, Long Jump and High Jump. I didn't do shotput because it was really hard for me. Then the on Friday, March 2 It was Athletics! We had to wear something that is our house colour. House groups are big groups of student it all different rooms in HHS. There were 4 of them, Lewis (Blue), Shelford- (Green), Setu (Red) and Turner (Yellow) I was with my brother in Turner. 

Then we had our Athletics, my first activity was Long jump, I didn't do that well in Long Jump but I think I came 12th-13th. Next activity was High Jump I think I did good in high jump with the place of 6th or 7th. But I got really scared because It was getting really high and I might get an injury but I kept going. Afterwards we waited a really long time to do the 100m run, and I was a bit worried that I might trip on the start so I removed my shoes and socks. But it also helps my feet to get lighter and not heavier.  I was also scared because the sport teacher had a small gun with paper as it bullet and it was really loud. I also versus-ed really fast people but in the end I came 4th. But then I got really weak and felt like I was melting so I went to my brother and grabbed my credit card and brought an "Ice Cream" on the Tuck shop but I din't notice that the 60m run was starting so I was too late. But then we had to wait a lot more time to play discuss so I noticed that the E-Sports meeting was now so I went. After that I saw my friend playing basketball and also my brother and his friends. So I played with them. Next my friend and I didn't notice the time but the discuss has finished. So it was a really bad disaster for me, but I felt fine because playing basketball made me so tired...
